IMPORTANT: First time use: Charge battery for 24 hours, then 12 hours after that. When the pump is ready for extended storage, charge it fully to avoid any battery damage from a completely depleted charge. The battery is made of Nickel Cadmium and have a life of approximately 800 cycles or 3-5 years if used properly. Extra pumps are available if needed.
